HOW IT WORKS

Five steps, and no surprises in any of them.

You are deciding whether to let a stranger sit down in front of a machine that holds your tax returns and your photographs.

So here is the whole thing, start to finish, before you have to ask.

01

YOU WRITE TO ME

Three things in the email: what it is doing, the make and model, and your ZIP.

You do not need the right words for the problem. "It turns on and then nothing" is plenty.

02

WE PICK A WINDOW

Weeknights from 1730 to 2100, Saturdays from 0900, Sundays from 1200.

Bluffton, Hilton Head and out past Ridgeland are weekend visits for standard work.

03

THE WRITTEN ESTIMATE

You get it in writing before anyone drives: labor, the trip fee, any surcharge, and what parts are likely to cost.

Nothing happens until you say go.

04

THE WORK, AT YOUR TABLE

I confirm the estimate at the door, then work where you can see it. Kitchen table, desk, wherever the machine lives.

If I open it up and find something worse, I stop and tell you before I spend another dollar of yours.

05

YOU PAY WHEN IT IS DONE

Payment is due at the end of the visit, for the amount on the estimate.

Before I leave, you get a short note of what I did and anything I would keep an eye on.

THE PART THAT MATTERS MOST

The written estimate is the price. Not this website.

Everything published here is a figure, not an offer.

The estimate I send you before traveling is the one that governs the work. If the job changes, you get a new estimate — not a bigger invoice.

WHAT IS ON IT

Labor, the trip fee and its mileage, any one surcharge, and the expected parts cost.

WHAT PARTS MEAN

Parts are billed at cost, plus 6% South Carolina sales tax on the materials. Labor is untaxed. If a part has to be ordered and fitted on a later visit, that visit carries its own trip fee.

IF IT CHANGES

I stop, explain what I found, and send a revised estimate. You decide whether to keep going.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU

SYMPTOM  ·  what it does and when it started
MAKE AND MODEL  ·  the sticker underneath is fine
ZIP  ·  so I can work out the trip fee

If you know the password situation, say so. If you do not, we will sort it at the table.

Back up anything you cannot lose before I arrive. Any repair can lose data, and at the door you will be asked to confirm you have a backup or to accept the risk in writing.

WHAT YOU GET FROM ME

A price before the drive, and the same price after.

One person, every visit. You will know who is at the door.

No fix, no fee — the $30 diagnostic and the trip fee aside.

Nothing sold to you that you did not ask about.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

BOOKING

Book a window online and pick a service and time. Every request comes to me to confirm before it is locked in.

Prefer email? That still reaches me directly.

Cancel or reschedule free up to 24 hours before the window. Inside 24 hours, a Zone 3 or 4 deposit is forfeited. If nobody is there when I arrive, the trip fee is billed.

BOOK ONLINE
PAYMENT

Due when the work is finished, at the estimate figure.

Military and first responders take 10% off labor with current ID shown at the visit. Travel, parts and surcharges are billed in full.

Step one is one email. I will take it from there.
